About the project
One continuous floor
Books, desks and seating sit along a gentle ramp that winds up around the core. Visitors can walk from the entrance to the top without taking a single step.
The light well
A glazed oculus brings daylight to the centre of the building, and the curved walls spread it softly across the shelves.
For everyone
The ground floor stays open late as a covered public room for the neighbourhood.
