Sø Pavilion

A room on the water

The pavilion is a single cantilevered room that reaches out over the lake. A long horizontal window holds the shoreline like a painting.

Lightness

The structure is carried on four slender columns set back from the edges, so from the shore the volume appears to hover.

Used all year

It hosts small exhibitions in summer and concerts in winter, when the frozen lake turns white outside.
